Bumbling About
Well, I have been doing this NaBloPoMo thing and I've been desperately trying to get some crafting done so that I could take some lovely photos and show you how productive I've been. Hmmmm. No chance just lately. Even if I do get some time, you can't sit down for long because the house is so cold you'll get frostbite! The boiler man has very inconsiderately decided to get married and go on his honeymoon, so the new boiler isn't going to be installed until the beginning of December! Brrrrrrr!
I think I'll call it a night now. Not much today I'm afraid but I have the day to myself tomorrow (hopefully) so perhaps might get something done. Might just be cooking; at least then I can put the oven on!!
Going to put my thermals on to go to bed! Sexy!

Wow! I Did The NaBloPoMo Challenge!
I am quite amazed that I have completed this challenge! The last week has been hard because of feeling under the weather but on the whole, this has been really enjoyable!
I will try this again, but maybe not next month!
There are a couple of things I will try and do differently I think. Trying to do my post earlier in the day, is one. Most of my posts have been after 10.30pm! This puts just a little bit too much of a time pressure on one, particularly if you've no idea what you are going to write about! (And trying to watch CSI at the same time.) Taking more photos earlier in the day is another must. So many pictures have been shadowy because I hadn't realised how dreadful our lighting is until now!
So, it is 11.30pm again and I guess that is the end of February 2010!
Here's to more blogging and crafting! See you next month.

NaBloPoMo
Well, I've seen this National Blogging Month 'thing' on other sites and wondered what it was, so I registered on the site in January and have been ever so secretly contemplating doing it. I did a short post on 1st February, just because it's nice to do one on the first of a new month. Then on the 2nd I bought something I wanted to share. Better do a quick one on the 3rd, just to keep my options open. Then on the 4th I had a really busy and interesting day so might as well do another post and suddenly I was there copying and pasting to the NaBloPoMo website! Oh dear, what have I started?
I have a few Valentine projects to do, and today I had planned to make a start but a new recipe for a beef and ale pie thwarted my plans, along with a very large unexplained telephone bill which had to be sorted out and a direct debit which still appeared to be going out of my account even though it had been cancelled in October!!! I really should check my statements more often!
The pie was worth all the faffing about, I think. I have managed to reduce the phone bill and although I haven't claimed back the lost money yet, at least no more will be going out of my account unnecessarily. So finances have been dealt with, but no Valentine craftiness!
Oh well, there's always tomorrow, unless I get distracted by the book I bought today in the sale at WH Smith:

Can you hear my lips smacking together?
PS Happy Birthday Sal's Snippets!
