Saturdays are always a bit of a rush with student changeovers. We usually have two at a time but lately we seem to have been out of sync and only changing one each week. This leads to all sorts of problems with lots of things being left behind and disagreements about who should go on the top bunk!
Our Italian left this morning and I hope she managed to get to Gatwick Airport with no problems after all the traffic problems they had yesterday! We still have our little girl from Taiwan and now also a Swiss girl, whose English is very good so no need for so much sign language! It really is lovely getting to know our students but it is always a bit of worry when they first arrive! You never quite know what you're going to get. We did get compensation one year when a Spanish student decided to carve her name into the bannister!
Scary and Starfish are getting quite good at changing the sheets on the bed now but Starfish always has to do the top bunk because Scary and I are so short we have to stand on a chair to reach!
Anyway, that's enough rambling for today. Just a quick picture of Scary in her new skirt that she got at the Sidmouth Festival.
